Paediatric Emergencies in
General Practice
With the exception of Immediate Care doctors all General
Practitioners feel anxious at the thought of a seriously ill patient
in front of them. The situation is compounded when the patient is a
baby or infant. Even Immediate Care experts find themselves in an
area where they get little experience.
This does not stop the sick child arriving at the doctors surgery,
or worse still, reacting adversely to an immunisation given at the
surgery.
The fear of missing the serious illness, of being uncertain of drug
doses, of not being able to find intravenous access, and not knowing
what the current protocol for management all race through the
professionals mind when they face a very sick child and its parents.
Eventmed UK is a company formed by General Practitioners. We know
what is realistic in a doctor’s surgery, and what would be expected
to be good clinical practice. This half day, and intensely practical
course will give you the ability to cope when you need to. It is
ideal for protected learning time for a larger practice.
For up to 8 persons the cost is £ 300 plus VAT
