Drowning, Hypothermia and
Diving Accidents

This is a course suitable
for anyone who likes messing about in boats, or diving. It looks at the
physiology of drowning and the resuscitation of those who drown. With
dramatic video of a real life rescue and Basic Life Support practice in
a realistic manner (or Advanced Skills if appropriate), this three hour
course covers hypothermia survival and treatment and also the diving
conditions of decompression illness and pulmonary barotrauma.
Taught by a Health & Safety
Executive approved Diving Medical Examiner and Immediate Care
Practitioner with experience of managing all these conditions the
session is ideal for all clubs and societies involved with water based
sports.
