Pre-hospital Emergency Care Course
Pre-hospital Emergency Care Course
The Pre-hospital Emergency Care course has been run by BASICS for many years. Approved by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh Faculty of Pre-hospital Care the course is the first academic step in training for the newly recognised sub-speciality of Pre-hospital Care.
Normally BASICS runs courses in hotels and at the prestigious Madingley Hall at Cambridge. Current financial constraints however can prevent some prospective students from enrolling however and so there are two other options.
BASICS Education Ltd also offers the ePhEC, an on-line modular course in 16 parts that culminates in booking to take a Regional practical examination.
Eventmed UK Ltd periodically runs the PhEC on behalf of BASICS Education either as a non-residential course over two week-ends or as a three day course in hostel style accommodation. The cost of these courses is pared to the bone. Further details for 2012 will appear soon.
